The Ladies Foursome

Photography: Sean Fenzl

The Ladies Foursome, written by Canada’s most produced playwright, Norm Foster, offers a moving and hilarious look at friendship, identity, and the legacies we leave behind.

The story follows three longtime friends, Margot, Tate, and Connie, who gather for a round of golf the day after the funeral of their mutual friend, Catherine. Over fourteen years of sharing their lives across 18 holes, the women have discussed everything, including careers, sex and relationships, children —everything, it seems, except golf. Joining them for the first time is Dory, a mysterious acquaintance of Catherine’s who appears to know more about the trio than they do about her.
