As you begin digging into your gardens this spring, we invite you to set aside a few extra plant divisions to support a wonderful community initiative. Chemainus Theatre is proud to host a spring Plant Sale to help fund the entrance‑garden revitalization project spearheaded by the Vancouver Island Master Gardener Association (VIMGA).

The Cowichan Valley VIMGA District has already received a supportive grant from the Master Gardeners Association of BC (MGABC) to launch this work, and we’re grateful for their leadership. To complete the funding required for the full revitalization, we’re turning to our community of gardeners and theatre‑lovers to help bring this vision to life. The redesigned space will feature drought‑resistant, low‑maintenance plantings that create a more welcoming and sustainable environment for everyone who visits the theatre.

If you’re dividing perennials, thinning out groundcovers, or refreshing your beds, your healthy, labelled plant donations will help this project take root.

Every plant shared helps grow a more beautiful, community‑minded space for guests, volunteers, and neighbours alike.
