By joining our team, you’ll become an ambassador for the arts and a valued member of our community.

All volunteer applicants are interviewed prior to approval. Thank you for your interest—we’re excited to meet you!

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Volunteer for the Chemainus Theatre Festival, I agree to the following:

Take reasonable care of my own health and safety, and that of others affected by my actions.
Participate in training relevant to my volunteer role.
Perform assigned tasks to the best of my ability.
Represent Chemainus Theatre Festival positively in the community.
Arrive on time and be prepared for each shift.
Dress appropriately, as outlined in the Volunteer Resource and Training Manual.
Notify the Volunteer Coordinator as early as possible if I’m unable to fulfill a scheduled shift.

While volunteering, I understand that I may have access to confidential information about patrons, staff, or fellow volunteers. I agree to respect the privacy of others and handle all information responsibly and professionally.
