About the Chemainus Theatre Festival:

The Chemainus Theatre Festival is a not-for-profit professional theatre company located on Vancouver Island. Since opening the doors to its 274 seat venue in 1993, annual attendance has grown to over 40,000 patrons per season. In addition to producing live, professional theatre, the Chemainus Theatre experience also includes the Playbill Dining Room, Fireside Lounge and Gallery Gift Shop.

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities: The Chemainus Theatre Festival is seeking for part-time Host/Bussers for the Playbill Dining Room. The successful applicant must be able to:

• Work in a fast paced team environment

• Work with public

• Be consistent, punctual, and neat in appearance

• Follow directions and adhere to company policies and procedures

• Complete duties and responsibilities to industry standards

• Be cross trained for other positions i.e. Seating

The position will consist of anywhere from 10-25 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday.

The successful applicant will be available to work variable shifts including weekends, evenings, and day shifts.
