A Holiday Classic with a Twist
Taking on Dicken’s host of characters, a small ensemble of actors embraces simple theatrical magic and storytelling imagination in this holiday classic. Built from the five staves of the original story, this adaptation centres on the joy of connecting and Scrooge moving from self-imposed isolation to community and good cheer.

Our 2022 Shows
What are you excited about down the road this season? Getting together? The thrill of a live performance? Enjoying time with friends or family in a space that you cherish and love?
We are thrilled to be returning to the Mainstage with a full 2022 season. A season full of comedy, music, and stories that inspire and nourish the human spirit. Our preseason kicked off with our first-ever Min-Film Festival and The Journey from Michael Clark, and now we run headlong into a classic comedy with The 39 Steps.
All summer long we will be travelling down Classic Country Roads with tributes to favourite country stars. In the fall, we turn the corner on three Canadian-made shows celebrating women in hockey, the chameleon talents of Zachary Stevenson, and finally, Ebeneezer Scrooge with a twist.
We will continue the Cabaret Series in the Playbill Dining Room between shows on the Main Stage and have a great lineup planned throughout the year. We are also thrilled to be releasing Seasiders, a series of webisodes created for adults and children alike.
Join us for the open roads and dramatic vistas of 2022 and cruise back to Chemainus!
