About the Chemainus Theatre Festival:

The Chemainus Theatre Festival is a not-for-profit professional theatre company located on Vancouver Island. Since opening the doors to its 274 seat venue in 1993, annual attendance has grown to over 40,000 patrons per season. In addition to producing live, professional theatre, the Chemainus Theatre experience also includes the Playbill Dining Room, Fireside Lounge and Gallery Gift Shop.

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities: The Chemainus Theatre Festival Society is seeking part-time experienced Servers. Under the direction of the Patron Services Manager and Head Server, the Server will ensure that all patrons are served with superior customer service while maintaining the integrity and reputation of the organization.

Qualifications required:

• Serving it Right certification

• Food Safe certification

• Knowledge with Orca Systems or other POS systems preferred

• A team player

• A good communicator

• Must be 19 years old to server alcohol

The position will consist of anywhere from 10-24 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday.

The successful applicant will be available to work variable shifts including weekends, evenings, and day shifts.
