In 1933, four women set out to prove that Canada’s favorite sport could belong to them as much as it could to men. Based on the incredible and inspirational true story of Ontario’s Preston Rivulettes women’s hockey team, history comes to life on stage as Hilda, Marm, Helen and Nellie, along with their coach, battle prejudice, The Great Depression, and wartime in order to win their place in the rink. With stunning choreography, Glory captures the tension and exhilaration of hockey, all while celebrating female empowerment in a time when women were pioneers in a man’s world.
