Michael Clarke
Michael has performed in professional live theatre since 1989. Other theatre credits include: Miss Saigon, The Who’s Tommy, The Lion King, Seussical the Musical, One Man Two Guvnors, Legends, Kim’s Convenience and Smokey Joe’s Café; latest Film & Television: Clifford the Big Red Dog – 2019 reboot. Michael thanks his friends and family for all their love and support.
Naomi Costain
Selected shows; Deathtrap (Classic Theatre Festival), Ladies Foursome (Bruce County Playhouse), Mrs. Warrack in The Louder We Get, Janet in Drowsy Chaperone (Theatre Calgary), Shady Business, Joseph… Dreamcoat, Sweet Charity (Stage West), Sally in Cabaret (Segal Centre), Roxy in Chicago, Brooke in Legally Blonde (Neptune). Kaden Forsberg
Kaden is an actor, singer, composer, and writer who crosses genres as creator and performer. Recent highlights include Almost a Full Moon (Citadel Theatre), One Day: a new musical (Segal Centre), Lotte Lenya Competition finals, and a Canada’s Got Talent appearance with his vocal trio VOLARE TENORS. Some personal highlights are Marie Clement’s Missing (City Opera Vancouver), a film debut in The Garden of Alice, and Charlie in Mary’s Wedding (POV).
Mark DuMez
Mark has served as Artistic Director at the Chemainus Theatre Festival since 2009, where directing credits include The Sound of Music, Silent Sky, Hilda’s Yard, Mousetrap, Ring of Fire, Amadeus, A Shayna Maidel, A Christmas Carol, Jeeves in Bloom and Jeeves Take a Bow. Favourite acting roles include playing Muskrat in Lumberjacks in Love, as well as roles in Queen Milli of Galt, Mass Appeal and Streetcar Named Desire (CTF), John Gabriel Borkman (Theatre X) and the Dauphin in Henry V (Kentucky Shakespeare Festival). He has developed new work and adaptations for children and adults (Pet the Fish, Little Women) and glad to be working on this show at the Chemainus Theatre Festival and with the many exciting and talented artists who come to play on our stage.
James O’Leary
James has been building scenery for Chemainus Theatre since 2014. Naked Radio is the 4th piece he has also designed, previous show credits include Outside Mullingar, Lumberjacks In Love, and A Tiny Christmas Carol. In his diverse career, James has worked with Nureyev and Rambert, the RSC and Ninagawa, the Zurich Opera and Phantom of the Opera, to name but a few. Keep it live.

Michael is a member of ADC / IATSE 659, and an award-winning Lighting Designer. Michelle Lieffertz
A seasoned actor and costume/production designer, Michelle holds an MFA earned in London (UK) and has worked in theatres and film/television on both sides of the Atlantic, in both performative and design roles. She currently focuses most of her time in Barkerville, which is actively pursuing the re-framing of the Colonial narrative of historical events. She gratefully acknowledges the Stsu'minus, Lheidli T'enneh, Dakelh, and Secwépemc Peoples, on whose traditional lands she lives, works, and plays.
Antony Knight
Antony Knight is a Vancouver based composer and performer. He holds a Bachelor of Music in both Opera Performance and Composition from the University of British Columbia. He is active in the BC theatre, film, opera and classical music industries. He has worked with companies such as Theatre Under the Stars, Vancouver Opera, both Vancouver and Victoria Symphony, UBC Symphony, Western Gold Theatre, UBCO Theatre and Axis Theatre.
Koh Lauren Quan
Vancouver-based but born and raised on the island, Koh (she/her) is thrilled to be back for her 6th production with CTF! Elsewhere, she has worked across Canada at Drayton Entertainment, Thousand Islands Playhouse, Persephone, Arts Club, Gateway, Savage Society, TUTS, Touchstone, and Theatre NorthWest. Most recently, she was also the Assistant Choreographer for Something Rotten! (TUTS), and the Artistic Coordinator for the Arts Club. @kohlaurenquan
Mandy Huang
Mandy is a Vancouver based stage manager. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Studies and Sociology. Mandy is excited to work in Chemainus for the first time!
