Cim MacDonald – Featured Artist

Cim Is a signature Professional Photographer of Canada, a Northwest Watercolor Society member and an Associate Federation of Canadian Artists member. As Curator of the World Famous Chemainus murals, she is retiring after a 25-year career. Over the years, she painted 10 of her own and was kept busy refurbishing the now 63 murals. Aside from Chemainus, one of her largest murals was done for the Blue Grouse Winery in Duncan.

Accolades include the BC Arts and Cultural and the Ted Mason Memorial awards. Canadian Artistic Photographic Society medals, Professional Photographers of Canada trophies, and top awards from the Sooke and Sidney Fine Art shows.

Collectors include the late Queen Elizabeth II and the former Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.

Renowned for her bird and wildlife photography, she has published two books, The Chemainus Gardens – The Beauty of the Seasons” and “The Unexpected Birder” which received an award from the Photographic Society of America.
