The Chemainus Theatre Festival Society is seeking an Assistant Hospitality Manager. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the successful candidate will help ensure the successful operation of the Playbill Dining. The Playbill Dining Room is a 180 seat restaurant that operates in tandem with Chemainus Theatre’s performance calendar. There is an excellent dining room team in place ready to move to the next level of excellence. The ideal applicant will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for food, the hospitality industry, and the ability to motivate staff. It’s a fast-paced environment, requiring a hands-on leader that can make timely decisions and maintain strong attention to detail. Solid administration and communication skills are essential. Prior experience in a similar role in casual dining is preferred. This is a part-time position with a current average of 26 hours per week.
