Settings
The action takes place in New York City.

Act One
Scene One: A small apartment in an old hotel on upper Broadway, in 1972. It is an early afternoon in mid-winter.
Scene Two: The following Monday, late morning.

Act Two
Scene One: A Manhattan television studio.
Scene Two: The same as Act One. It is two weeks later, late afternoon.
