Georgina Beaty
Eleonora
Georgina is delighted to return to Chemainus where she previously appeared in Ah, Wilderness!. Other credits include: Unity (1918) (Alberta Theatre Projects), Pig (High Performance Rodeo/Canoe Festival), Bone Cage (Downstage), Queen Lear (Urban Curvz), Suspended (Boca del Lupo), and the collective creation, Highway 63: The Fort Mac Show with the company she co-founded, Emergency Architect Theatre. Georgina is a graduate of Studio 58.

Norma Bowen
Fru Heyst
Norma is a graduate of Studio 58 and an associate artist of Chemainus Theatre Festival. Before leaving Vancouver she collected two Jessie Award nominations for Fool for Love (Arts Club) and a Lie of the Mind (Vancouver Playhouse). Favourite credits include: Private Lives, Annie, See How They Run, An Ideal Husband, She Stoops to Conquer, A Doll's House, Hay Fever, Having Hope At Home, Ah, Wilderness! and most recently Oklahoma!. Easter is her 20th production with Chemainus Theatre Festival. Norma resides in Ladysmith with her husband Mike and their teenage progeny, Luanna and Cody.

Norma Bowen
Costume Designer
Norma (aka Prunella Vulgaris, the Witch in the Wardrobe) is an associate artist with CTF, where she has designed more than a dozen shows. Favourite costume designs include An Inspector Calls, A Streetcar Named Desire, Little Women, Anything Goes, Murder of the Nile, The Miracle Worker, Mr. Pim Passes By and most recently, A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline. Norma is a graduate of Studio 58.

Stefano recently toured Axis Theatre's award winning plays The Number 14 and The Emperor's New Threads. Upcoming, he will be performing The A to Z of H2O with DreamRider Theatre. Past shows include The Hobbit (Carousel Theatre), Alice: A Wonderland (Western Canada Theatre), The Compleat Wks of Wllm Shkspr, Abridged (Project X), Futuristi and The Best Italian Variety Show - EVER! with his company BellaLuna Productions. Stefano enjoys surfing and riding his Vespa scooter (not concurrently - yet).

Mackenzie Gordon
Benjamin
It was less than a year ago that Mack made his Chemainus debut in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. He's grateful to be back doing Strindberg's Easter. Mack was last seen as Tommy in Carousel Theatre's The Big League and is currently working on his next project, an Edgar Allan Poe inspired Halloween-tour through the Vancouver West End's Roedde House. Enjoy the show!

Lighting Designer
Ereca has worked as a lighting designer at most of the major theatre companies in Canada. At Chemainus Theatre Festival: A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, Ah, Wilderness! Recent design credits include: Thoroughly Modern Millie (Gateway Theatre); Souvenirs (Prairie Theatre Exchange/Green Thumb Theatre); Albertine in Five Times (Shaw Festival); Semele (Pacific Opera Victoria); Anything that Moves (Belfry Theatre); Glorious! (Belfry Theatre/Arts Club Theatre). Ereca is a member of Associated Designers of Canada.

Gary Kirkham
Playwright
Gary is pleased to be working with the Chemainus Theatre Festival again. His plays include Queen Milli of Galt, Theatre and Company, Chemainus Theatre Festival; Pearl Gidley, Blyth Festival; Radio Leacock, Lost&Found Theatre; The Last 15 Seconds, The MT Space; and Falling: A Wake, Stageworks/ Hudson New York and Magnetic North Festival 2010. Gary is a member of Lost&Found Theatre in Kitchener.

Samantha Madely
Christina
Samantha is very happy to be returning to the Chemainus Theatre Family for the first time since appearing here as Lady Caroline Bramble in An Enchanted April (2006), Sheila Birling in An Inspector Calls, and The Empress in The Nightingale (2005). Since then she has been playing on stages in both English and French throughout Canada with such companies as The National Arts Centre, Caravan Farm Theatre, Theatre Replacement, Theatre la Seizieme, Theatre SKAM, Blackbird Theatre, Sunshine Theatre and Carousel Theatre. Samantha is also a writer, director, and graduate of Vancouver's Studio 58.

Neil Maffin
Lindquist
Neil, in his Chemainus debut, is a long time New Yorker, now a resident of Quadra Island, and has appeared at the Belfry Theatre and Bard on the Beach. New York highlights include the Broadway production of Salomé, as Sloane in Entertaining Mr. Sloane at CSC and the Sum of Us at the Cherry Lane. Neil has guest starred on numerous TV shows, including Law & Order S.V.U. and Dead Like Me.

Dale Marushy
Set Designer
Dale is delighted to be back. Previous designs for Chemainus Theatre Festival include the KidzPlay series Nightingale and the town's Chemainus Revue. Residing in Calgary, he's an Assistant Art Director for CBCs television series Heartland. Dale has designed for Pacific Theatre, Rosebud Theatre and several new, exciting companies. Design Credits include: Shadowlands, The Woodsman (PT), On Golden Pond, Man of La Mancha (Rosebud Theatre), and Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol (Loudly Whispered Theatre).

This is Meghan's 12th show in Chemainus and she is, as always, very excited to be involved in another Chemainus Theatre Festival production! Meghan completed her apprenticeship at Chemainus Theatre Festival and Western Canada Theatre (Kamloops). Her favorite shows for Chemainus include Hay Fever and The Woman in Black. She would like to thank her parents for always cheering her on in every aspect of her life.

August Strindberg
Playwright and Writer (1849 - 1912)
Strindberg was a Swedish playwright and writer. He is arguably the most influential of all Swedish authors, and one of the most influential Scandinavian authors, along with Knut Hamsun, with whom he fraternized while in Paris during the mid 1890s, Henrik Ibsen, Søren Kierkegaard, Hans Christian Andersen and Karen Blixen. Strindberg is known as one of the developers of modern theatre. His work is of two major literary styles, Naturalism and Expressionism.
